Position Overview:
The Identity & Access Management (IAM) Administrator supports the secure and efficient administration of employee, contractor, and visitor badge access. This hands-on role manages user accounts, physical access credentials, visitor access systems, badges, and end-user access levels throughout the identity lifecycle.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented and comfortable taking ownership of operational access-control responsibilities. They balance security with customer service, ensuring users receive the access they need while keeping access appropriately authorized, documented, and maintained. U.S. citizenship and the ability to work on-site in Mukilteo is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, modify, disable, and maintain employee and contractor accounts
- Process access requirements for onboarding, transfers, role changes, and offboarding
- Assign and manage end-user access levels based on approved business requirements
- Create, print, issue, replace, and deactivate employee and temporary badges
- Configure physical access credentials for buildings, doors, and controlled areas
- Administer visitor access systems, including temporary credentials and visitor badges
- Troubleshoot account, credentials, badge and physical access issues
- Perform routine access reviews and remove outdated or unnecessary permissions
- Maintain accurate access records, approvals, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with IT, Security, Facilities, HR and management on access changes and audits
- Onboard new users from internal and customer facing users quickly
- Manage guest access permissions in a timely manner creating seamless support for end users
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in IT support, identity administration, access control, security administration
- Experience managing user accounts, permissions, onboarding, and offboarding
- Experience with badge, physical access control, or visitor management systems preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail, customer service, communication and documentation skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information and consistently follow authorization procedures
- Background in information security is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
